Carmel-by-the-Sea Bed & Breakfasts

Tucked into the famous artisan village of Carmel-by-the-Sea in the heart of downtown, are two classic European-style bed and breakfast inns - the Monte Verde Inn and Casa de Carmel. Each guest room is individually appointed with distinctive furnishings creating an enchanting ambiance of romance, style and comfort. Two guest cottages and a four-guestroom inn make up the Lamp Lighter. All have private baths and private entrances and room rates include breakfast. A lush garden and hand-built gazebo add to the allure of this property.

This rustic Carmel bed and breakfast features fireplace cabins ranging in configuration from single queen bedrooms to two-bedroom family suites with full kitchens. The Inn has an indoor sauna and hot tub, and each morning delivers a light breakfast to guests' doors. This property is pet-friendly.

This bed and breakfast inn offers a total of 11 bedrooms with private baths, private entrances and fireplaces. Breakfast is served each morning in the guest's room or in the courtyard. This Inn features 11 oversized rooms in six separate buildings. Each room is fully appointed with a private bath, 27-in TV, free movies and some rooms have a wet bar. A two-bedroom, two-bathroom deluxe apartment is also available. Port and Sherry are offered to guests each evening.

Guests of the Sunset House can stay in one of four suites, individually decorated and furnished. Guests may also cruise in one of four classic cars for a daily fee. Some amenities include an in-room fireplace, a courtyard and gardens and a convenient location close to shops and attractions.

Located close to Carmel beaches and area amenities, the 1925 Happy Landing Inn has all the modern conveniences. Breakfast is served in the guest's rooms and afternoon refreshments are included in the room rates.

The sea-side Victorian style inn features eight rooms, most with private bath, located close to area shopping and beaches. Rates include breakfast by the fireside, afternoon tea and coffee and evening wine and cheese. Complimentary wireless.
